On the determination of an optimal sample size

Abstract

In works on sample survey theory and methods the sample size is usually regarded as determined by the sampling procedure and the total cost of the survey.     

关于吸油烟机的国家标准和IEC标准中一些错误和修订建议

本文指出了现有吸油烟机国家标准和IEC标准中的一些错误和不足之处，并提出了修订建议，可以使吸油烟机检测更符合实际，提高检测精度，提高工作效率。这些改进措施在沈阳“国家日用金属制品质量监督检验中心”经过试验，证明是切实有效的，但如要采纳为标准内容，应作进一步研究。

从央行五次降息,到商业房贷利率下限可打七折,每个购房者都在计算这笔或多或少的息差。这次调整能给购房者以多大的实惠,对于还款的具体偿还过程的本息金额又是怎样的影响,文章基于Excel的分析,对利率调整的弹性进行剖析。

介绍了六氟化硫的性能及应用情况，阐述了六氟化硫断路器的工作原理。指出了六氟化硫断路器的安全隐患和毒性来源。若六氟化硫气体的含水量较高，则将使绝缘水平大大下降，接触电阻急剧增加，在运行中易发生损坏或爆炸事故。总结了六氟化硫断路器5个方面的毒性来源，介绍了工作过程中产生的有毒气体。最后提出了六氟化硫对环境的危害及回收利用问题。     

The Impact of Hotel Social Events on Employee Satisfaction

ABSTRACT

Employee satisfaction is an important factor in the hospitality industry. This study offers a technique to gauge employee satisfaction and demonstrates its use in an actual setting. A case study of the Mercure Mirage Eilat Hotel evaluated employee's satisfaction, before and after organizational social event, revealing that satisfaction improved after the social event. The findings also demonstrate that the composition of satisfaction altered. Prior to the organizational activity, monetary compensation was of prime importance; following the organizational activity, social issues gained significant importance in forming employee satisfaction.     

我国碳金融发展的形势展望与政策建议

当前，应对气候变化已成为全球问题，其中市场机制和金融工具的作用非常关键。我国作为全球最主要的温室气体排放国之一，减排的国际压力可能继续上升。而实现国民经济的长期可持续发展，也需要经济发展方式从能源消耗模式转向低碳模式。这种长期减排的压力给我国碳金融的发展带来了机遇。但以现实条件而言，当前我国碳金融仍处于非常初级的探索阶段，为此，文章提出了短期内推动我国碳金融发展的关注重点及相关政策建议。     

Is the development of the agro-processing industry pro-poor?: The case of Thailand

We examine how the development of the agro-processing industry contributed to poverty reduction in Thailand. The effects on farmers’ income are emphasized because most of the poor in Thailand are farmers. The development of the agro-processing industry could improve farmers’ income through two channels: (i) the purchase of agricultural products; and (ii) the employment of the poor farmers at factories. We show that the development of the agro-processing industry, which also played a leading role in the high economic growth of the Thai economy, contributed to poverty reduction through both of the two channels. It was hence pro-poor.

电力工业绿色和谐发展路径研究

本文从电源结构和火电行业发展两方面研究资源与环境双重压力下的电力工业发展路径。结果表明:①电源结构优化效果明显,可通过区域协调发展有效保障;②火电主导地位牢不可破,考虑资源效率和环境影响是电力工业评价的必经之路。     

基础设施对包容性增长的影响探讨

包容性增长日益成为关注的议题,经济政策的重点不仅要维持增长速度还要将增长收益惠及所有的人及地区.本文运用文献法、归纳法等方法介绍了基础设施的特征,阐述了基础设施通过对经济增长与减贫的影响而对包容性增长起着关键作用.我国经济要实现包容性增长,就要加强对基础设施的投资.
